Vocational Assessments & Counselling

This service helps to prepare the worker for a new position if they are unable to return to their previous job.

It can involve screening, assessment and counselling with the worker for the purpose of identifying vocational options and strategies to achieve these goals.  This often includes interviewing, counselling or administration of vocational tools to identify suitable job matches which take into consideration relevant labour market information.

If it is identified that the worker may need re-training to allow them to gain necessary skills to fulfill the new vocational goal and be competitive when job seeking, the Rehabilitation Consultant will research appropriate training options. Pending insurer approval, the Rehabilitation Consultant will arrange the training for the worker and monitor their progress.
