Ergonomic Assessments (and training in conducting Ergonomic Assessments)
During an Ergonomic Assessment of an employee’s workstation, the assessor addresses not only the workstation, but also the associated work role and tasks.
The assessor gains a history of the person’s symptoms and an understanding of the physical and cognitive demands of the person’s role. This information is then used to ensure that equipment is correctly positioned and used appropriately by the employee.
